I've got a few favorites in my portfolio, but i'll start with these two.
... because of the emotion -- it's also my highest scoring photo to date and was taken with my old camera (Vivitar)
... cuz it's my first print available and looks great on my wall as a 20x30 :) It was taken with my new camera. :)

If it's ok, I'll go with two images
I dig this because it will never happen again. I saw it...sized it up to the best of my ability and did what I hope was justice to that fleeting moment. This image moves a lot of New Yorkers as well, which is rare and that in itself means a lot to me.
This is far from perfect on the DPC scale but it's perfect to me in a way that I can't explain. That's not to say that it's perfect but it resonates deeply within me... again, in a way I can't explain.

NC waterfall this was my first time attempting a shot with a longer exposure time.
plants rained upon I'm not sure why I've liked this picture so much. The set of pictures I took along with this one, I like, another one expecially, but I love most of them.
my pup - was actually for my photography class ('window light' portraits). once in a lifetime thing I think, sun was at the perfect angle (we now hove trees blocking this little window he was next to so the sun doesn't come through the same), he was in the perfect place, and he actually listened to me when I told him to sit and stay XD |

I really like this photo. It did not do as well as I hoped in the challenge, but there were some great photos entered. Regardless, I LIKE IT. |

This was one of my first attempts at infrared. I loved how the clouds made it look very surreal.

I have like 3 that i am really impressed with so i just can't pick one......
I love the editing on this one! To me its really Mesmerizing i get lost in it.... it one that really wowed me... ( and most times im not to wowed by my work)
This one is another jaw dropper for me... I love the editing and how it turned out. More of a feeling picture and just makes me feel some stuff that i have been threw. (same with my Screaming pictures in my portfolio )
this one is a re take of
which i happen to like the Re take ALOT better than my 1st one. I love the richness of the retake and how clear and define it is. Once again i impressed myself which is hard to do i pick at my work alot until i hate it very bad thing to do. =)

I like this one because is my first pic I accomplished the idea I wanted to shot. I had the settings in my mind and it really came out how I wanted.
This one I like it for the good details I managed to capture and for the juxtaposition of the sun with this industrial landscape. And because also brings me beautiful memories.
I will push more and say I have a third one
I do because it brings back my father and wash away a bit of the guilt that I was not by my father's side when he left this world. I took the pic with him in my mind and brought me 2 small but worth recognitions
imaging-resource second place and
Betterphoto second place

Right now I really like that colour scheme.
But it isn't "one" picture, he, he, it's something like 5 or 7 (can't remember).

I love the layers of colour. I have a similar image done in the Rockies and it turned out with layers of green. |

Has to be this one, totally unplanned, I was driving a small back road when I saw this horse, I stopped in the middle of the road to take a picture, the horse just came close to the fence and keep staring at me.
Edited to post the good picture

One of my favorites.
Are you familiar with the Canon ads in National Geographic that say "Wildlife as Canon Sees It"? Well, this is my take on that theme:
Life as Canon Sees It
This is my 7 month old daughter (now 19 months) gumming my lens cap. My family tried to make me send it to Canon. |

I have quite a few favorites, but I think this one is probably at the top. This is my 5yo daughter and her best buddy.

My first-ever attempt at a trick setup shot (taken with a little P&S Olympus Stylus film camera). This was my oldest daughter sitting on a dock in Maine at sunset. I had mommy stand behind me and clap. My little model looked up at her and copied the clapping movement, so I just had to time it right. ;-) |
