Hi all,
I would like to know how to create a nice website that would looks like a gallery? Something like a software that would produce html or else that could be uploaded to a website.
Thanks! |

Microsoft -Picture It!Pro
Nova Development -Photo Explosion
Adobe -Photoshop Album
Data Dosen -Jalbum
Ulead -Photo Explorer 8.0

Adobe Photoshop Album is great, and creates a 3d world where people can look at your photos. I'ts a piece of cake to upload this to your own website.
Check out mine (one I created a while ago) at //www.dolphinfactory.com/PhotoGallery/ |

If you already have Photoshop 7 (or 6), there is an option in it which you could find useful:
File | Automate | Web Photo Gallery
Where you can pick a directory, choose among one of the different templates available and have you html gallery generated automatically for you.
I have used it a couple of times and it is real fast: produces a web gallery in very few mins (depending on how many photos are in the folder you selected).
If you start liking it, then you could even consider of defining your own template, following the examples given by the existing ones.

Check out JAlbum, for free, on the web at //www.datadosen.se/jalbum/
One great advantage is JAlbum extracts the EXIF information out of the images and allows that data to be displayed on the web page automatically. It can generate an on-line album for a whole directory structure of pictures.

I'd also suggest PBase. Everything is built for you and all you have to do is upload your pictures, the site extracts the EXIF data and posts it for you.

I just checked out Adobe on line and toured the info for APA,, I didn't see anything in it about 3D modeling.
Is there something you need to add on?
thanks

Yeah, their website isn't too forthcoming!
It's all built in, and uses their 'Atmosphere' plugin. It's still quite buggy so maybe this is why they don't publicise it too much. |

There are many, many web-based places that allow you to build an on-line photo album -- many quite easily and some even for free! A great guide to a lot of them can be found at: Online Photo Resource Guide
Good luck and good posting. |
