I love old pictures from the 1860's period. Especially civil war pictures. I always try and replicate the look and feel of those kinds of pictures.

This is one of my favorite pictures, that I took about 2 years ago with my little P&S Canon Powershot A70.



Every so often I like to revisit pictures I have taken to try out new skills and methods to try and improve them. To date, I think that the following result is as close as I have ever come to accomplishing my goal of capturing the look and feel of a civil war era photograph. Let me know what you think.
