When I did levels, flipped a picture horizontal, used a crossprocessing filter (NIK) on the whole picture, used a grain filter(Photoshop) on the whole picture is this still basic editing? And if not, wat isn't?

Thanx!!!!

I think the NIK filter is a kind of effects filter (not allowed) and while noise is listed as an exception I do not think that a grain filter is ok.

Jep I read the basic editing rules for the 5th time (wow english can be hard some times...) I guess, haha and indeed no effect filters..... So I have to reproduce the effects my self with curves and levels. Quite a challenge, but that's good to learn.
I presume it's ok to do curves and levels???

As long as you do it to the whole image.

ok thanx!
Wow it's hard to make the same effect on a picture with out the effect filter, but, it's pretty cool when you can create the same effect!!

Yep, curves & levels are fine. If you use them on an adjustment layer, you may change the opacity of the layer, but the blend mode must stay in the default (normal) blend mode.
The Photoshop grain filter is fine as it falls under adding noise which is legal.
