You're welcome guys. glad no ones mad at me. or hasn't posted it yet. lol. 5 is my low usually. I don't want to vote down to find out I was mistaken and feel like a B**ch. lol. 4's are for photos that are way too small and anything under is only for offensive photos(not gross, but more like racist or something) which I usually just skip anyway.

Wow. By that standard my PEAS photo must be tiny and radically offensive. I never knew that the peas could offend people so ;) |

I gave
6-3's
8-4's
3-5's
and I explained why for each shot so to me there is no question for the photog to wonder why.
But I gave nothing lower than a 3

well this threads for fire shots so if your fire shot has peas and not fire than maybe people are offended that you DNMC. lol Just Kidding, I'm just messin' with ya. ;)
wanted to add: most people use a scale closer to 1-10 I'm just very much the "pat on the back fror trying" tree hugging hippie, I love everyones photos type. ;)

If I had mixed up the two photos then I could understand a low score, luckily though I didn't enter the fire challenge. I know what my shot would have been, and there were a few similar entries that were vastly superior to my standard.

That is good. Really I think people here are, in general, firm but fair. It'd just be nice to get a few comments when the low votes do come in. Otherwise how are people meant to progress? |

Edited to add 6 nice constructive comments...I have never gotten that many constructive (what is wrong, how it could be better) in a challenge.
I am working on the comments now. even changed a few scores that I thought DNMC in my first round.... They actually do... No low scores in this one.

Please don't get me wrong - I welcome your comment on my photo - I wish everyone left a comment but...did I get the 4 because it was (a) funny (b) cute, or (c) silly?
I'm just messing really as I expected my photo to get sub 5 as it's not very "wow" but I had fun doing it and my wide helped which made it even more fun. I'll also add, I envy you lot whose partners are active in photography too - it must be great to share the passion like that. |

Still holding steady and doing amazingly well for such a relatively simple shot. Thanks everyone for the comments so far. I guess I'm glad my more complicated setups fizzled and I had to go with plan C after all. |
