Just got back from 5 days of hiking halfway around Mt. Blanc through Italy, Switzerland, and France. What an amazing trip! Up and down about 3000 ft. each day. Total of something like 40 miles.

I've got, oh, about 850 pics to sort through, but here's a quick sampler. Not quite final editing on any of these.

The horned guy is an ibex. The grasshopper was sitting at our bus stop.

And the mountains and valleys look even better in person. ;)

I'm the one with the beard.

One thing about mountains, especially in clouds or snow: getting enough light on them without totally blowing out the highlights is a trick! Sometimes you just gotta accept the blowout to get any detail in other parts. I'll play with masks later.

No pictures of your blistered feet? ;-)

Nice job on these. I'll peruse and comment on a few.

LOL. Guess I should've taken a pic of my wonderful double-layer socks. Not a blister the entire trip!
