| Hi...I need a little help. I've tried looking for the answer in several books, but no luck. I'm using Photoshop CS2. I would like to resize an image on one of the layers. I know that I can select the image and drag one of the corners to make the image larger, but it comes out too pixelly. I think there should be a way to resize just the one layer, or am I wrong. Thanks in advance! |

the canvas size in photoshop is the same for all of the layers. if you want to resize the whole thing, you can use the image size menu command (image/image size). you'll get pretty much the same results as if you grab the handle and scale it, though.
if you really just want to make one layer bigger, you can copy it into a new document, use the image size command, and then drag the layer back into the first document.
hope this helps. |

Thanks,
I thought about that, but it seemed like a "work around". I guess I'm a little spoiled with Paint Shop Pro's ability to size the layer I'm working on then when its where I wanted it, I then flatten the image.
Thanks again. |
