I am interested in making a display at my work of my photos and was wondering is it permitted to use the DPC logo? I would use it in this context: "title of imaginary pic" as seen on "insert DPC logo here". Is this OK??? Do I need permission in writting? Who should I ask for it? (am I asking now?) Just wonderin'

In case it makes a difference, my work is just a take out pizza place where I have a glass window I like to fill with things like pictures. That would be where I put the logo if it's allowed!

I think there was a thread about this back around the time we were designing some stickers for DPC as one of the challenges.
I think it's OK to use it as you describe. To get a definitive answer, copy the text of your initial post and email it directly to the admins via the Help>Contact menu item. |

Thanks GeneralE, I'm hoping to get more digital photography interest in my area as well as give some creditability to my work. It would be realy (too?) cool if my digital could help by my next (we can make you better, faster, stronger, nah nah nah nah) digital!!!

| You're welcome. I seem to remember that we were allowed to use the DPC logo on our stickers, and we are allowed to use the stickers for personal promotion, so I do think posting your photos with a As Seen on DPC! sign should be fine. If you have prints for sale, put the direct URL to your online gallery there too! |
