Hey all,
I bought the Canon lense adapter and hood set for my camera(can't find it though, long story). I also saw some other makes online but I can't remember where. Could those who use the S2IS with a lense adapter give me some recomendations? Am I also correct that I have to have the lense adapter, even for a filter? My brother has a Kodak which is very similar to the S2IS, and it is threaded so no adapter is needed. Thanks for your help!

If the lens isn't threaded than you need the adapter even to attach filters.

As far as non-Canon adapters go, I got the LensMate version for my G3. I don't know if LensMate makes an S2 IS version but it may be worth a look. LensMate is cheaper than the Canon brand but every bit as good. (IMO anyway)

Thanks! :) I'm pretty sure it was LensMate website I was looking at back in December. They cost more, but they also look better made than the Canon I recieved. Thanks again!
