Okay...

Sorry to be such a bother with all of these questions lately, but you have all been a GREAT help. I'm looking into choosing a new lens or two.

Is there a link or someplace that lists compatible lenses for my Canon 10D? If it says "for Canon", that doesn't necessarily mean it will sync well with all Canon digitals does it? I certainly don't want to shell out a couple hundred bucks for something that doesn't work with my camera. Thanks.

Judy

Edit: Oh no! I was just trying to do a google search for you and clicked "post" before I was ready. I'll keep looking, Judy.

Well, I guess let me be more specific...I'm mainly talking about NON-Canon brand lenses. Sigma, Tamron etc. Thanks! :)

Here's one from Sigma - at least there's a telephone number so you can double-check their website info (Your question is #17):

"All current production Sigma lenses for Canon autofocus cameras are fully compatible with the new Elan 7, Digital Rebel or EOS 10D camera. If you have a question about a particular lens, please contact SigmaĆ¢€™s service department (in the U.S.) at (631) 585-1144 or via email at info@sigmaphoto.com."

10D can't use ES-F lenses.

As for other brands like sigma and tamron i don't think there are compatability issues. The only ones to look out for are the DiII tamron series or a sigma version of that.
