Not for me, but a friend wants a new camera, but he lives in Canada. Prics here are great. Looking at these two, in CA, they are expensive:
Fuji finepix F30 6 MP - $337 US, about $450
Canon Powershop A620 7MP - $220 US, about $380 in Canada
Obviously not all about "exchange rate". So where can he buy one of these from a reputable mail order place in Canada at a fair price?

I live in Canada and B&H normally is as good or better then local prices. Just a thought.

Just to add to the list:

I've used Henry's and McBain in person and Camera Canada online. All are good though Camera Canada seems to have the best prices and their service is good.
McBain and theCameraStore are in Alberta so no provincial sales tax for anyone. For the others provincial sales tax is charged if ordered from a province outside Alberta (Vistek has an Alberta and Ontario location). No PST/GST on foreign orders I don't think. |

OK - I tend to be a bit dyslexic I think, or maybe I just glance and things too quickly, but I saw the title of this thread as "Mail Order Canadians".
Imagine my disappointment.... I had my credit card ready and everything! |
