i am a member of quite afew forums on various topics
most of the others i take part in have an option
for an email notification of replies to posts you make.
also - highlight in the posts listing which you have posted too.
makes it alot easier to keep track of where you have posted
would be nice to see something like that here.
BTW - i just paid for a membership - and i have only been here for 2 weeks - this is a good place !!

I know what you are talking about but this forum is so active that could you image how much email you would get on some of the threads here. Active threads could generate in excess of 100 notifications a day.
Also if you check the bottom of your profile you will see the few threads you have participated in.

well the forum at actionscript.org is very active
you only get email when someone posts to a thread you are subscribed
to. you dont get another email from that thread until you log back
into the forums.
and i see the listing of threads i have posted to
a search feature would be my next thought
there are alot of cross posted threads here.
