Twopeasinapod is another website with photographers, though its primary orientation is "scrapbooking". They appear to be every bit as social on their website as we are here. Friendly people. One of their members (maybe more than one, I am not sure) got exposed for borrowing images from other places, including DPC, and calling them her own work. As a result, a cultural interchange began between their website and ours, with the end result that a number of them have joined up here to show solidarity in the world of friendly photographers.

And so it came to pass that our own Strangeghost proposed, about 30 hours ago, a "Peas" challenge to welcome our new friends, and our Benevolent Leaders D&L were quick on the uptake, and now we have an extra open challenge, not exclusive, with advanced editing, called "PEAS!" :-)

Ahh! Thanks Bear and Crayon (who PMed me). That's a lot that happened that I missed. Maybe I should double check CNN to see if I didn't miss out on world peace taking place. :P

Whats the difference between 'exclusive open' and just 'open'?

There are usually two exclusive opens which means you have to pick one or the other. The PEA one is open to all no matter what other challenge you enter;)

Not really silly :-)

exclusive is what they ended up calling the challenges that you can only enter one or the other of after they started having the 2 opens.
just 'open', means anyone can enter, regardless of the other 'exclusive' challenges (they were just 'open' before there were 2 every week, which meant they were, well, open to everybody)

....ok, that all just came out sounding very confusing.
exclusives are one or the other....

ok, somebody else, who is NOT a honyak explain it :-)
