I'm a pea-er & wow! Talk about ahead spinning experience! I mean, seriously...I know my photos aren't amazing, but at least their my own & I'm proud of that.
And to all you DPCer's...color me envious of your talent & equally intimidated & in awe! Great work to all of you & I really hope this whole thing doesn't make peas leave a "bad taste in your mouth" so to speak.

| For those seeking legal avenues, you might want to run clpandsound.com through a whois search agent like allwhois.com. Weird that the photographer on that site is going by "Lawrence", here and other places as "Steph" and once as "Sarah". But in theory, the registration info should be somewhat correct. |

Hey, question for the Pea Ladies, wait, that didn't sound right, question for the SweetPeas, there, that's better..........
Just what is your site about, picture taking, scrapbooking, editing? I see lots of different things there, where would be the best place to start if one is interested in posting and using your site?

As for the bad taste, sorry, unless there are only a few peas in my salad, I can't stand the things, BUT my daughter will eat them day and night so they can't be all bad, :)

Quite a few. lentil and judi are two that are frequently in the forums. You can also do a profile search by location. |

| Two Peas in a Bucket started as a scrapbooking website but has branched out a bit. There's also a NSBR board (not scrap booking related) - just make sure you're wearing your big girl panties. :D |

Neuferland, it's all of the above.
I started out as a scrapper on the site & discovered the photography part of it in the past year! So it really depends on what you're more into when starting out. If you're more of a photographer than a scrapper than the photography part is the place to be. Everyone there is so helpful & friendly.
Wherever you start out, everyone is very friendly & will give praise to even the newbies!

HI! I am just a baby Pea LOL But we have a lot to offer over at 2 peas . we have scrapbooking, The Pub where people hang out who are looking to be Published ( In Scrapbooking ) LOTS of People in the Scrabook Biz hang out there , we have the Non scrap book related site it gets rather crazy there so be warned LOL and Last BUT Not least our Photo site where we share Pics and info ( I mostly get info ) and they also have challenges ., if you scrapbook I would say starting with the general area there . we would Love to have any of you come to the Photo area and give Pointers also .. I am LOVING the pics I have seen so far. Nola |

I too also started out on the scrapbooking side, then to digital scrapbooking and then to the photography side.......I have learned alot from there......
Now hoping to learn even more here......
Amazing photos here....I just can't believe I haven't seen this place before now.... |

I think you'll find DPC is a little less generous in the praise department and a little more generous in the honest critiques. That's what helps us to learn. Its showing us what we've done wrong that makes us better, not telling us how wonderful we are. Our challenges' average scores are a 5.5 out of 10 with a 7.0 or 7.5 frequently winning. We (speaking for myself) take photography seriously and find that its the best way to learn - accepting honest reviews.
Again, welcome to the 2Peas. Hope you guys enjoy the amazing talent here and take advantage of how willing most people are to help. Post a picture and ask for critique ... you'll get it, with suggestions and sometimes even help with processing. Check the forum topics for some great tutorials and do click Learn on the toolbar above to get a quickie start.

This is very true, but even without fancy equipment the knowledge comes quickly. The thing is that we're an honest bunch, but we're also willing to share what we know. When I started I was averaging about 5.2 and lately I've been scoring right at 6.0. You'll pick it up quickly, so don't let the initial culture shock get you down :*) |

Another pea joining the thread here! This truly looks like a great place to learn. I hope I work up the nerve to actually post something for critique... I tend to lurk.
Yes... two peas has quite a bit of stuff going on. It's primarily a scrapbooking site, but has a very open and helpful photoboard. I joined about three years ago and the peas there have taken me from some frightening point and shoot pictures to some halfway decent shots. |
