these shots aren't bad at all, like them a lot actually.
the second one is my favorite. but, i think that for in a magazine, where you will be possibly trying to relate the band to the audience, a more personal pose would be better, have him looking at the camera. both poses look about the same, just cropped differently. i do not mean to take away from these shots at all, for they are great pictures, and work well in B&W. for them going to promote a cd though, i think a different pose would do better. just my idea.
