Is there a major difference between the different versions? How is Elements compared to CS, CS2, 7, etc? I THINK I have Elements 2.0(?) in 1 of my boxes in storage, but I'll have to go check.

Here's a pdf article comparing Photoshop CS to Photoshop Elements 3.

This article discusses some of the upgrades from Elements 2 to Elements 3. I'd say probably the most notable difference between 2 and 3 is the RAW support, but I guess that depends on the capabilities of your camera.
