This is the wrong forum if you are looking for comments...

A lot of them are overexposed with blown highlights. You need to bring the levels down on a lot of these and I would mask a lot of them out and put them against a black bg, especially the coiled up snakes.

You have 39 shots there, it's tough for someone to comment on them here. Upload them to your portfolio, you may get more comments.

I didn't mean comments as in the way of critiques, just comments on the snakes and dragons, how cool they are. I know they need work, I know about the blow outs, I just sharing, thinking others might want to share as well.

Sorry

They are cool! I especially like the bearded dragons. They are such mellow and cute little critters.

You must have had a great time shooting them. That's my idea of a fun day! Thanks for sharing.

It was a ton of fun! The babies were the coolest, though Mom and Dad were really neat as well. The one on the orange housing was the best, he refused to join the others and when I put my camera in the tank to get some pictures he was all defensive, LOL!

The Boa was very cool as well, I was thrilled when I got the shots with her tongue out. Her name is Slither.

Several of us got pictures of a gopher snake out at the kite festival, and I think I got a couple of tongue-out shots too -- I was surprised! I'll have to look for one of those ...

Have you tried single lighting from the top to add some drama.
