Hello,
I'm new here at DPC and am wondering why the number of views don't match up with the number of votes to photos submitted to a challenge. I would think that if somebody took the time to view that they would also vote - am I wrong?

Quite often people go through and look first, then go back and vote later. I'm the opposite - I vote the first time through, then go back and look again and comment, and bump some up as I look at them again. So I'll generally view each entry at least twice.
Others don't vote on challenges they enter, so they look to see what's there but don't vote. |

Since member challenges can only be voted by members, when a user looks then can't vote.
Some people will vote and later come back to comment. Sometimes it takes a couple of looks to be able to comment/vote. |

Some images are *so* good that folks do a double-take. That registers as two views ;-) |

Or in my case, they are *so* bad that people have to come back because they can't believe someone would put something so bad up.

Then there are mine that are more like an accident - you're driving and you can't help but look as you're going by :(
