I took this months ago right after I got my camera. I decided to dig it up out of the depths of my hard drive and touch it up. Tell me what you think:

good picture but looks like it was hand held, you can see some of the shake in there.. a tripod woulda made it much better. good framing on the shot tho...

Yea, picture is a bit out of focus...but I'd sure love to kick my shoes off and stick my toes in there!! :)

It was handheld. At the time, I didn't have a tripod (I had just barely gotten my camera a week before). The original looks horrible compared to this, but I really like the framing and lighting. All I did to this was sharpen about 33%. I think I'll try to go up to that same location again soon and take a properly done shot.

i think its a good idea to get that POV on the stream - but imo, from the dead tree-up, you can't really see the stream so well - maybe if you take a couple steps to the right to see more of the stream leading to the falls? just a thought.

I like the sound of that. If I go up there again before cold weather hits, I think I'll have to move that dead limb out of the way, too (if it's still there).
