Using PS 7

I tried to download a plugin, now all my filter effects have dissappeared form the filters menu, but they are there in the pug in folder, how do I get them back into the drop down menu?

Have you tried exiting and re-starting Photoshop?

What is the name of your PlugIns folder? Do any of your PlugIn files or folders have a tilde ~ character in the name?
