I tried doing a search in the forums but couldnt come up with what i am after.
My printer has started printing with a very orange hue. I have checked the nozzles they are all clean, all ink is full, i have taken them out and put them back in again but it is still orange. No matter what photo i print.
Anyone have any other ideas what it could be?
Thanks in advance
Lisa

Ok. I'm sorry I don't really have an answer for you, but I will say that Canon appears to use CMYK for their inks. That means that there is no single color for Orange.
Additionally, from what I read, the colors are mixed on the paper rather than in the printhead, so it sounds to me like an internal calibration issue and something fairly complicated.
Perhaps a trip to Canon Service?
How do you like the print quality from that one? |

I have a canon ip5000 and my photos are coming out dark and off colour because the yellow ink cart is somehow getting comtaminated with the other inks. Maybe this is also your problem, check the colour of your yellow cart against a new one to see if it`s gone dirty.
I have changed my yellow several times but it keeps happening and don`t know the answer :(
