This looks interesting for Sony users - but it is a simple idea that could easily be adapted from a generic device, I think. The device creates a log of co-ordinates that you have visited, then cross references the log against your photograph time/location from EXIF, to attach gps geographical data to images.

| I wonder if the software will work with other GPSr's. So will people who have say Garmin get a copy of their software and have it merge the GPS track data with photo time and date? That would be much more useable, $150 for a device with no true navigation ability will not do well. The inter-link software would be the winner. |

Robogeo is good and works with any gps that you can download waypoints and tracks from and camera that exports EXIF.
do a search for geocaching and you'll see other programs and info too. |
