...at the airport today.



My boyfriend (Monkeyman) is traveling back to Canada. Last night I taught him some Photoshop things and sat with him as he prepared his first ever challenge entry. We're both very excited. :-)

I got home and knew I had to do something artistic to express what I was feeling and I wanted to share it with you all. I used two photos that I took at the airport. You can't see the second photo very well in the thumbnail unfortunately.

I have had prior experience in combining images but this was sort of a first for me in detail and scope. Earlier I have mostly combined entire images and only adjusted the opacity. Here, I also erased some of one layer as well as used the healing brush, and adjustment layers to apply a gradient to the brightness. (I hope the adjustment layers terminology is at least somewhat correct.)

So this image has both emotional and technical reasons why it appeals to me, and while I know that you all won't feel the same way, I hope you nevertheless enjoy it at least a little. :-)
