Doesn't render correctly at all when viewed with Firefox. Can't say much more due to that!
Go to w3c.org and use the validators there, might help you out some with the browser compatibility headaches (if you care to deal with it). |

Works fine in Fx unless I'm missing something that's supposed to be there. |

Nice and cool colors.....Though could add something more on the front page...it seems a bit empty....All in all a pretty nice UI |

I don't know what to do with the browser issue, some say it's fine some say it's not ;-(
Guess I have to follow my own which is fine too and keep it that way.

The home page is a bit thin on content. Your approach is (I'm assuming) to keep it clean and simple? Perhaps a bg image? Maybe thumbs next to the image links? What are you going to do when the number of images per category increases; subcategorize, users scroll farther down, etc...?
Browser, IE v6
Best of luck to you! ;^) |

I have used Lightbox for my revised web site too, which I am only just launching - I like that script a lot. Some firewalls will block it however, and the viewer will not see the superimposed photos. I am not sure what the workaround is (but let me know if you look/find one!).
Thumbnails would help people know what to click on, though they take up lots of space. I have found it difficult to design a really satisfying gallery myself. I will keep an eye on your progression.

Thanks sofar, and yes I will have to make subpages eventually.
not sure how I will do that yet, perhaps dropdown menu or something.
for the thumbnails, well I used that on my earlier version which was fun but alot of work. I wanted to use text links for the cleaner look
and also a bit of not "what u see is what u get" thing.. more misterious some kinda way.
Not sure if i succeded on that haha, ahwell :-)
Guestbook is also up, if u want to comment their that's fine too! :-P

I liked your other 'Menu' navigation better. If you are going to keep the dropdown menu you have a couple of bugs to work out. 1) When you navigate to another page (i.e. guestbook), the menu doesn't have any other choices except 'guestbook'. 2) Select 'Contact' and it attempts to open my mail application instead of going to a page or giving the user an option (annoying). 3) Getting a javascript error on the main page (object expected) which I believe is menu related.
You may want to edit your original post in this thread as the index_temp page throws an error now. |

yes, sorry..
in Safari everything works ok!
- "links" doesn't work yet though: The requested URL /L I N K S was not found on this server.
- external links are loading in the same window, I'd make it a new page
- is there an option to load the guestbook in a frame, with your own layout?
- maybe you could put the models together, Liz with Liz, Serdar with Serdar etc.
oh by the way, I like the dropdown menu!!
