In the recent "Gold" challenge, I had a few people compliment me on my "studio set-up" and I got the feeling as the challenge went on that maybe people thought the shot was "Staged". I just got lucky that one of the performers that day had a "gold" shirt on.

So, I thought I would show a couple other angles to show this was shot "on location" during an actual Blues Festival. Not an easy assignment considering there were Thunder and Lightning coming and going all day.

This was the "Gold" entry

and these are shots from other angles.

I have got some other great shots as there were about 12 artists performing that day and I'll be posting some later for all the "concert photo heads" out there.

I don't see any comments on your challenge entry implying that it was a studio shot - perhaps you received some PMs.

Anyway, I thought it was an awesome entry. It looks like the "Storm Brewing" shot has some nice potential, too. I like the silhouettes there, especially Big Daddy looking up at the sky.

I got a couple PM's and stuff.

As a person who knows how hard it is to shoot concerts, I just wanted to get on the record this shot wasn't a studio set-up worked on for hours.

No complaining about the results here, they were cool. As an event photographer, I just like to make the distinctions when I can :-D

Wow, I think it's awesome that you got such a nice, clean shot from an event. I like it when studio-looking photos aren't done in a studio. Makes me wish I could get the same look! :-D
