I've put an internet favorite of mine as a quick launch icon on my computer, but when I click it to open it, it takes a webpage I already have open, and goes to the site from there. How do I make it so it opens in a new browser?
Thanks

What browser are you using? I use AOL's Explorer and mine opens in a new window. |

You can put in your shortcut iexplore.exe first.
So instead of just www.google.com as a shortcut, it actually is IEXPLORE.EXE WWW.GOOGLE.COM
THis will launch a new process of Internet Explorer before opening the site. |

I'm guessing 6 as there is not 8 and IE 7 (beta 3) is a tabbed browser and new windows open in a new tab (if you are set up that way).
But it looks like ur fixed... |
