I'm in the market for a small P&S to substitute / alternative for my D50. Something that will take greatpics but fit in my pocket. I love the D50 but it is sometimes not practical to carry around. I had a fuji E550 (great little camera) but passed it on to my daughter,
Suggestions?

I'm going today to get one. I let you know what I end up with.
I have found that dpreview is very helpful. Then, I looked at the camera profiles on here. Now, I have it narrowed down to 5, and will go see if I can find any of them.
(I need it, like, tomorrow, so I don't have time to do the online or ebay thing.) |

| The Canon Powershot SD700 and the Fufjifilm Finepix F30 are two worth taking a look at. Do you have a price range in mind? |

There has been a lot of talk lately about the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z100, a 10mp compact camera by Casio.
Also see this thread regarding the Casio.
I've been thinking about a compact addition to my arsenal as well. |

No particular price somewhere around $200 would be nice.

| I'm biased, but the Canon Powershot A620 is a lot of camera for the money. |
