If the cat gets really out of hand, you can lead the assault.

After our female cat was spayed the vet didn't believe us when we said she is showing strong signs of being on heat and the toms on the front patio were obviously enough proof in itself. So when she did some tests and they came back positive that she was still coming on heat, she was shocked. She then explained that a minute bit of skin/lining/whatever had been left behind without her knowing and it is enough to make her come on heat. She can't produce but the symptoms and the toms is not a welcome exchange.

So she gave her a drug that she was to take every time she came on heat. Put it this way....she would come looking for the drug in the end....it made her veeeeeeeeeeery happy and smiley, if you know what I mean. We accepted that because the toms disappeared...no stinking smell around our yard. So my cat became a druggie....until she disappeared a few years later...probably went looking for the hard stuff!!!

You know why all those dogs and cats keep licking their hoohas and hihos?

Getting back to the real world, I do believe there have been many cases of broken backs due to such pursuits. Really. People taking relaxants to try to loosen their spine enough to do the job. My reaction is, why can't we all be friends?
