Julia Dean

This six-week workshop is for those interested in creating insightful portraits of people in their environments, whether the portrait is of a family member, someone in a corporate office, or someone on the street. With Julia Dean as the thread throughout the class, each week brings a different professional photographer to class to show his or her work. After discussing their work and style, the guest teachers will then give a specific assignment that relates to their own style. The following week, the next guest teacher will critique the last guest teacher̢۪s assignment. All guests will discuss ways to approach people, how to build relationships, and how to capture the essence of the subject̢۪s world.

Workshop Fee: $415
