Although I didn't win a prize in the Bellevue Botanical Garden contest, I just received a note from them that it has been chosen as Best of the Rest. That is "Best of the Rest, not Best of the Best :). And they are going to have it printed, framed, and on display at the Garden.

Congrats Joann - that is a very nice pic! I love the waterfall in the background - it's subtle but eye catching all at once. :-)

Congratulations Joann!
I made numerous trips to Bellevue, Kent, Seattle and Vancouver when I was working in Engineering and do work for Boeing. I love that area.
I'am jealous of the areas you have to photograph :)

Calvus, I had no idea what a wonderful place I live in until I got my camera a year ago. I have put more miles on my car this year than in the past 5 combined. I know that I am pretty lucky to live here. Three months from now though, after not seeing the sun for 2 months, I might have a different take on it :) |
