Have been messing around with the custom settings for saturation etc. and was wondering what people set for sharpening.
I've had it set to auto and have noticed some in focus shots seemingly soft not knowing why - small app, short length, simple contrasty subject.
I have taken some test shots set to high and med. high and like the results they give but am hesitant to leave it knowing that it's just a software sharpening that most likely can be accomplished in PP.

What do you have yours set to?

-2 I believe, as soft as possible.
I do all sharpening in PS.

Until last week I had it set for medium high. I did this because I could take the JPG right out of the camera without any processing. Since discovering Capture NX, I only shoot in RAW because it makes the images Come alive vs. JPG and I set sharpening back to Normal.
