New Camera Question - DPChallenge Forums

Hi all, I am buying a camera off kiwiness, who I am sure you all know. Anyway its the Olympus C-5050Z. Well he and everyone else that uses that camera seems to have a lot of sucess with it, and I don't want to bring the standard down. My question is, I am looking for a lot of sites on both photo techniques as well as sites where I can learn a lot about cameras and all the tech stuff. So far dpreview.com has been fantastic, but I want more. Thanks :) I am so excited about the upgrade, I have one of the worst digitals out there lol

loz,

For the camera you have know that dosent even have 1 MP. Im scared to see what kind of pictures your going to take with your new one. And people bitch about how its not fair that other people have better cameras. Your pictures you took with your Kodak are really good. Cant wait to see what you do with your Olympus.

Its not the camera, its the person shooting with it. You've done some great photos with the other one, I'm sure you'll continue to do the same with the new camera. Just enjoy the flexibility it gives you.
