In photoshop whenever I use 'wave for web' the image looks significantly darker and slightly different colors. does anyone know why this could be.
I have sRGB as working profile, and have the image in sRGB profile.. i thought that is what I needed but perhaps I am missing something.

here is what i am talking about. The one part of the image (top right) is the save for web window, while the other is the regular image opened in photoshop.
there was a thread on this a few weeks ago, but i couldn't find it. I also thought i had fixed the problem but it still seems to be here.

in the save for web window, near the SAVE button, above and to the left of it I believe, there is a triangle (fly out menu icon). Hit that and make sure that there is a check next to "Use Document Color Profile"
If you use any of the others, weird things will happen to your image
Hope that helped
