i have an old Minolta Maxxum 7000 35 mm film camera and few lenses for it and was wondering if any of these older lenses would work with any of today's digital camera's and if so what would you suggest?

They will work on the Konica Minolta 5D and 7D which are no longer in production and they will fit the new Sony DSLR. Sony bought the Konica minolta camera section

ok now i'm trying to identify a lens i have for my minolta maxxum 7000. it says PROSPEC MC Auto-Focus Zoom 1:3.5~5.6 f=28~200mm. is this a good lens? who makes it? is it worth buying a digital camera like the 5D, 7D or the new SONY Alpha? i'm interested in the alpha, but are hesitant if the lenses i have (2 more) won't work well and are not worth adapting to the digital world?

the other two lenses are a tamron 80-210mm CF Tele Macro and a simple 35-70mm zoom AF for maxxum.

any thoughts and comments are appreciated.
