This literally happened 4 doors down from my brothers house in a Kirkland neighborhood. For those who don't know Kirkland, WA, it is an affluent area where this is going to be talked about for a year. Walter Jones, the All Star lineman for the Seahawks lives 4 doors down the other direction from my brother. The really freaky thing is, in the initial stages, it appears to be random with the prime suspect arrested having moved into the area two weeks earlier and not related to the family.
4 found dead in Kirkland fire were stabbed

Sounds like what we went through here during the Darly Routier incident in Rowlett about 10 years ago.
It is scary to think that can happen where you live and children play freely in the streets.

OMG! The poor husband is serving his country in Iraq and it's his family that were in danger!
If it was random your brother might need extra support - it could easily have been him and he might feel that? |

That's very sad. If he is the guy who did it I am glad they caught him.
Now if they could just catch the 2 serial killers we have running around Phoenix... |

That's a very tragic story. It reinforces the idea truth that life is to be lived fully. We never know what or when something may happen.

I"d heard about the fire, but not the stabbings. Scary. Does your brother have kids? I'd think it would be hard to deal with it being that close to home. |

Man, that is real sad. Especially because the husband has to come home to a burnt house and a murdered family. Geez, why do some people have to be pure evil? It doesn't make sense to interfere with your fellow man. My respects and prayers go out to the family. |

Ya, he has a 2-month old. He seems to be taking things in stride.
