I got back from a trip to Hawaii last week and made a little slideshow on flickr to be able to share the memories. There are a decent amount of shots of me, Davy, and my wonderful girlfriend, Danielle, so that our family would enjoy the show but I think there are some pretty good shots just from a photography perspective in there as well. This is after owning the camera for about 3 weeks and I'm pretty dangdong new to the whole photography thing so if anybody has any tips or pointers I would really appreciate it!
Thanks a lot to the whole dpchallenge community for encouraging the photography and providing lots of useful tips already. This is a great place to be learning. Anyways, enjoy:

Mannn, I wish I had money (and time). Hawaii is one of my dream vacations...
Anyway, you've got some really good pictures there. I especially like the one of your girlfriend on the bottom row of the slideshow (one of her face, and a white background), and the sunset ones.:)

wow great stuff, you have some pictures there, that i would really like to have on my wall ;)
and i totally agree with mecfcosta, that hawaii is a must be in future travels.
