Well I just wanted to apologize officially since I will probably not have much time after today to vote and comment in challenges. You see, I normally do that at 'work' when there is little to do here and today is my last day at 'work'. I normally don´t vote at home as I spend the days with my family or out taking photos and the evenings editing them. I will do my best but it will be very little for at least the next year.

In short, I just want to apologize for at least putting on pause me giving back to this site, I am about to become a big parasite here. I feel a little bummed cause giving comments has really probably been the thing that has helped me most in improving my skills, it has taught me to look at the flaws of photos, not just by others but my own too and I always see something with my own photos that I would have wanted to do better, I have never ever submitted a shot here I would have voted higher than a 7-8 and most would have gotten 5-6 from me.

Well since you won't be commenting and no one will mistake you for a big softy, as you browse now you can try to focus more on the positive aspects in photos. Just because a photo is flawless doesn't mean it delights.

Enjoy your time with your family :)

Well, if it's only going to be a year we may be able to make it.

Oh, are you scared you big wuss? Gonna kick your ass in week 2 of the WPL, you know that don´t ya! I have an entry in abstract food that is scoring a 8.9 and I bet I´ll 'break' a 9 with my lines entry. Don´t stop running till you hit the hills! :P

Oh and if all I am gonna get are sarcastic remarks in this thread, then you might as well do me a favor Shannon and lock this post... Let it die with dignity :D

don't feel bad. I average about 50 hours a week working and I have 3 kids that demand alot of my free time. Actually they demand all of it but I have to keep a bit to myself. I try to vote on the challenges I enter But have not been able to vote on all of them, if I have any extra time I will go back and comment on a few. do I feel guilty for not voting? NO! Sometimes I have more important things on my list. I am sure anyone else here with Kids or a busy job will agree.

If you are short on time. Use it to take photos and submit. I believe the photos are what makes the site interesting to others as not many people bother to go back and read every single comment on every photo after the challenge has ended and no one sees the comments before that time.

Hey dude, hope you are "back". That would be cool, been a long time you were in your last challenge, I haven´t really had the opportunity to kick your ass real good so far :P I would have you on my favorites list and you were on it one time but I kick people off it who aren´t active here as I regularly go over my favorites list and see what they have been up to in the last challenges.

Bugzeye: Yeah, think we are in the same situation, I however feel a little bad about not "doing my part" in the voting. There is no way in hell though that I am done submitting here, I am going to enter at least 18 more challenges this year and hopefully a lot more if I can :)
