| I have the perfect idea for an entry in the gold challenge. But I need a helicopter and Kahones the size of Cleveland. And a fish-eye lens. I predict I'll get none of the above in the next 39 hours so I'm going to have to settle for something much more mundane. And its raining, further limiting my choices. |

Dangit... I was right by Fort Knox two weeks ago! I'm sure I could've knocked on the door and asked to borrow a cup or two. ;-)
As for the "color gold" vs. "made out of gold," the description doesn't specify so don't blow a head gasket worrying about it (again). Just take your best shot. |

Just submitted after spending 3 hours on deciding which one to submit. I had two shots- one which I love personally and other which I know will score atleast 6.0 (but not much of my taste and I have already done something similar...twice! :()
Finally I took the risk of submitting what I like....but I was left with not much time to process it. Hope it does not screw up my average score ....atleast. But I'm happy for finally submitting without worrying (much) about the scores :) |

Not only did I spend money on props for this, I went and built a little PVC light box to shoot in. I'm awfully impressed with myself right now.
Fortunately I have the DPC voting public to keep me humble.
If I get another 4.XX I'll just....
...couldn't come up with anything. I just hope I don't get another lousy 4 ((crying on my keyboard again)) |

| This is my fastest entry (Tuesday) and will probably bomb like all my shots lately, but for once I don't care! I showed it to one friend last night, and he wants to have it in a poster-sized print. THAT makes up for any sub-5 score it may get :D |
