There is that one liquor that is supposed to taste like cinnimon if I remember correctly. It had gold specs in it.

Gold color...
Now, my father was jeweller, and I saw many kinds of gold in my life... The things I mentioned are not gold, but looks shiny gold... There is white gold, green gold, red gold... depends on what you put in the gold to give color, and strengthen.
:)

I think that, in this challenge, extra points should be awarded to all geologists as a gesture of appreciation.

I'll second!
All in favor say aye:
"aye"!
Opposed:

Motion passes, all geologists receive extra points!
Unfortunate rider to the bill:
Florida residents are not eligible for Gold, Color, or Color B/W without an 88/97ths majority vote.
Sorry cindi, I tried to get it pulled :(

All of these âgoldâ ideas remind me of how my day went. I know thereâs probably a lot of horror stories of how people try to meet the challenges, but allow me to vent mine. To begin with, Iâm ill with a major head cold. I have all the typical problems that go with it: body aches, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc. In general, I feel like crap. This is the first summer season cold Iâve had in years. Anyways, I call in sick at work and stay at home. Throughout the day, I took short naps. Then go to the computer, check out the forums on DCP and go back for another nap. While Iâm sleeping, Iâm dreaming of this Gold Challenge. These are really weird dreams! I think itâs the cold medicine or me just being disoriented in general. Somehow, I get this awesome idea of a photo using chocolate gold coins. I get off the couch with every intention of going to the store to buy some. However, I only managed to make it to the bathroom and then proceeded to go back to the couch. Chances are Iâm going to miss this challenge, but I should be able to do a lot of voting and commenting on photos. I hope your day was better. Good luck everybody. :-) |

ok, need to clarify this, we are talking gold colour (color) rather than solid gold? This will be my most expensive prop purchase to date (and thats even if the guy buys it back off me on Monday like he promised)

Challenge desc says find something gold, not find something made of gold. Of course the interpretation could go either way, and probably will. A shame the challenge descs can't be better defined. |

lol, I was thinking maybe splurging on two additional words like 'made of' or 'in color', but your definition is certainly tight enough as well. |

I'm in and for the first time in weeks I'm very satisfied about an entry. My beach entry sucks, so I hope my entry for the gold challenge will do better. |
