I've just been to the Dutch round of the World Superbike races (Laguna Seca is the US race) on Sunday the 7th and made 80 pics! They didn't all turn out well, it is unbelievably hard to pan a motorcyle with a 350mm zoom and no monopod.
Was a great meeting there, had access to everything but pitlane.
I just wished that the Sports challenge was the week before. :(

World Champion (at this race) Neill Hodgson doing a burnout with his 999 Ducati until the engine seized.

If you are looking for models, this is the place to be.

Thanks Jason, Justine. :)

Man, I wish I lived in the USA or GB, there is so much more racing going on there. AMA & BSB Superbikes, Nascar, club racing, Indy series, dirttrack, etc. Holland has two serious circuits and the level of racing is pretty low.
The only other exciting nearby event besides the MotoGP and Superbike races at Assen I consider worth visiting is the Le Mans 24 hours race. F1 asks way too much money for rubbish tickets.
