| I can't remember if the Shadow/Highlight tool is allowed in basic editing rules. |

While we are at it is the Gradient Map legal in basic? I've never been sure about this one. Surely it must if Shadow/Highlights is.

That's good to know although I find it very beneficial in improving tone quality.
