I can't remember if the Shadow/Highlight tool is allowed in basic editing rules.

Acrually, if I were you I would PM one of the SC and confirm that before you head back to the beach....

While we are at it is the Gradient Map legal in basic? I've never been sure about this one. Surely it must if Shadow/Highlights is.

I'm pretty sure that's OK, too, though rarely beneficial...

That's good to know although I find it very beneficial in improving tone quality.
