One of my photos will be up on the Kodak POTD next Friday the 21st (yay!), and being out in LA flying out just to see it is a bit of a stretch. But I found a webcam in Times Square that changes pre-set angles every few seconds and the Kodak billboard is visible in one of them. For anybody else with a POTD, here's a link: Earthcam and then click on "Cam1" and keep watching until it gets to the billboard. It's not the best, but better than nothing.
Anyways, I tried to do a screen capture, and it doesn't work. It captures everything on the desktop and browser ok, but where the video is it puts a live feed in there instead of a still picture of when you captured it... try it, it's wierd. So I was thinking if I could record the video and then do a screen shot while playing it in Media Player that might work. I've tried a couple softwares already like Replay AV and another one, but it just records the quick Earthcam logo movie at the beginning and stops, not the actual webcam feed. Is there a better way to do this? Thanks for any help.
BTW, this is the photo:
