congratulations.
I liked it except ... the digital manipulation is a little too obvious for my taste (edges of the sky with the wall or the trees). Or is it my screen only ? I saw llike 'black stairs' at the limit.
But otherwise I like it a lot and know you've been working on it. It's good that you 'achieved' your vision of that shot, what you wanted from it .
CONGRATS WOWOWOWOWOW

Lionel,
I see what you mean but this is not due to manipulation, it is there in the original shot. Try to see it here //www.digitalphotocontest.com//photodisplay.asp?photoid=527822
Thanks for your comment.

You are right it was already there. I am surprised it's so visible with a good cam. Some compression or size reduction effect ? Maybe check if it's there in the shot 'from the cam' to adjust your workflow.
Congrats anyway !!

This is not compression pixels you see it is the border of the brick wall. It's old and made like this. The shot was taken in a fine resolution and I have never seen compression pixels in any of my shots.

Isn't this much more fun than getting stuck in the snow at a cemetery?? LOL
(I remember that story from a thread last winter!)
