As you know the WPL2 began on July 2nd, 2006 and tonight the first of a possible four challenges will be posted for week 1. The Fireworks challenge results will be posted after midnight.

Well...with only three of us in the fireworks challenge we are sitting at a 6.133...we got two more challenges...we got this in the bag

So when do the stats get updated on the site or am I just not seeing it? Also, is there a game score section?

Sorry...It won't let me paste the exact thing on the site I am looking for...just keeps sending me straight to the week two line-up

Is that where the scores will show? I don't see a field for it.

No...click where it says home and that should be where you will see the team scores

How do you get included on a team? Or are they all closed now to new members?

Ok, but after week 1 all it will show is the seasonal "average" and not the score for the week. For that you'll have to visit each team page to see what they scored it appears. In other words there is not scoreboard page like this: MLB scoreboard where you can easily see the score in each matchup. Anyway just an observation. I understand SG has already put in a lot of work into this so it's not a knock or anything.

Bosborne...yes the WPL is locked untill season 3...and there is already a team called The Ninja Newbies...but you can get another one together and be ready for WPL3

And yanko...at the top right it says Team Stats...that should tell you who is in the lead and what their average is

If anyone has any questions on how to read the standings page, Photographer Improvement page, Team Improvement page, and/or their teams page just let me know. I will do my best to explain it.

NOTE: Before week one is complete there will be one more page added. It will be the 'Captain points page'. It will track the captain of each team and award them points by several criteria. My hope is that the 'Captain points page' will give the captains an incentive to contact each of their photographers and interact with each other.

Why are there wins awarded to some teams? Is that just indicating who's winning currently?

Yes!
Since the stats update by formulas they will update each time an entry is submitted. The stats you see now is mid week stats and not the official week one stats.

I was not going to upload until the week was over but I thought people may want to see where they and their team stands.

Exactly...it will change if the other team pulls ahead at the end

Correct! I have to enter all 140 photographers scores per challenge then the site updates automatically.
