I got in a 52mm hoya polarizer in the mail today and i was checking it out and i get a different effect depending on how its mounted.
Hoya polarizer filter on S2
The first section i held the filter infront of the lens normaly how you mount the filter. The second way i flip the polarizer around backwards.
One way seems to block alot of light, the second seems to filter the color tones. One way the image looks very blue, the other way the image looks very orange.
Why is that?

That's the way a polarizer works. Turning it gives you the amount of effect you need. Get 2 polarizer filters and put one up to your lighting and one on the camera and you will get some psychedelic effects when shooting plastics/glass. |
