So here I am, working for the last few hours on my PERSPECTIVE entry, and I submit it. Then i go ahead and read the thread about the perspective challenge, and there is a link to an older PERSPECTIVE challenge.

Well as I llok through the pictures I see that the shot I just put together was in the old challenege a few times! Man, and I though I had a good idea..... looks like i'm gonna tank before it gets started!

What's a photographer to do! ;)... I quess I'll start working on my abstract food!

No way....Im either gonna pull it, or leave it.... Not taking any more pictures. Sucks, b/c my first idea was a good one, but i didn't have the time to pull it off, so i did this one, which I still think is a nice pic, but due to it being done before, I may be getting my first ribbon...... the BROWN!

I can't believe all those people copied my idea!!! ;)

how DARE they!! maybe they won't remember.... na, seems like dpc-ers remember everything!! enter anyway :-)

Don't worry, it may still do just fine :)
For my 4th challenge I did a shot that I never thought about already finding here (rank newbie and all). It scored 6.3, 18th place, and is my second best score so far. But more than one person mentioned the "return of the straws" :)

Except when it comes to the same water shots, reflections and wine glass setups. :P

My advice is, if it came out well then enter it. Maybe you won't get a ribbon if something else is deemed more original but you should still get a good score for a good image.
