Hello, I am new to dpchallenge and new to 350d.
Here I have a problem to choose lense correctly
I know my canon 350d will fit EF EF-S lenses, but not sure will it fit the Canon AF or other manufacture's AF mount lense. If yes, 1.6 times zoom range will be applied? Such as CANON EF 55-200 F/4.5-5.6 II USM.
Thank you first.

Only EF and EF-S lenses will fit. This includes third party lenses with the EF mount. |

To elaborate on what Colette posted, Tamron, Sigma and Tokina are three of the largerst manufacturers of lenses that fit the Canon EOS (EF mount) cameras. Any lens that fits EF mount will fit yoiur camera, as well as EF-S mount Canon lenses.
For lenses that are intended for film or full-frame digital cameras, the field of view will look cropped. Yoiu'll have effectively the FoV of a lens 1.6 times as long, so a 100mm lens will "feel" more like a 160mm lens on a 35mm-format camera. |
