I can envision many photos of the McDonald arches :)

| Might be fun, but what about copyright infringement? Or worse yet, DQ's because it's a photo of someone else's art... |

Wouldn't that belong under "Monuments?"
The rule regarding other artwork would have to be explicitly suspended (as it should have been for Monuments). Copyright infringement should not be a problem unless you try and sell prints or use the logo to imply endorsement of your own product or services. Photographing it to enter a contest, share with friends, or print and put on your wall all constitute "fair use" under US copyright law.
