Well my streak of 6+ scores in a row has finally ended at 25 with the results of the flower challenge, am a bit glad honestly as I was getting painfully aware of it and sometimes second guessed myself if I should or should not send in photos because of it, I almost didn´t send in my "motion blur" for example.
Can´t really say I am surprised this scored below a 6 because I rightfully thought a lot of people would classify it as not meeting the challenge, I still like it and glad that most of the commentors did too. It was over 6 though till friday I think when it got hit by about 10-20 votes that knocked it down from 6.08 to 5.77, biggest drop I have ever seen here after getting more than 100 votes.
Fun story behind this one too as it´s shot in almost complete darkness! Read the "photographers comments" section for the story :)

Ok, just teasing ya. I've just finished reading the description on the photo. Interesting story! Wow you lucky guy, getting all the pretty ladies to model for you - I'm jealous! |

Wow...amazing story...and great result. I know the score isn't what you wanted...but I still like the photo.

Nah, sorry if I seem like I am complaining about the score, I really expected it and was surprised to see this over a 6 :)
I don´t really think there is such a thing as an "underrated" shot here on DPC, at least not score wise as the photos we take have to be looked at within the challenge they are entered.
I just started this thread to pat myself on the back for going 25 challenges in a row at 6+ :) On to the next run, I think my "10" entry will score a 6+ but that could change, only 40 votes so far and it has been dropping. Who thinks I can do 26 or more 6+ in a row in this newly started run? :P |
