When I resize pictures, I get these jagged lines..

..instead of smooth lines. I have not seen this before. Can anyone please tell me how to avoid this? I'm using CS2.

Thanks

It's very difficult not to get jaggies on certain angles of straight lines at 640 pixels. You can minimize them by using "step interpolation"; resize by 10%, repeatedly, until you reach the desired size. There are actions available for this. Fred Miranda's SI Pro and Resize Pro are both very good at this.

I think I found my problem. I fiddled with the camera settings, boosting sharpness. Now I get jagged lines and comments saying "oversharpened." Which, I guess it is. We'll see what happens when I reset.
